At home with Kevin, Steffie & Yoda
When Kevin and Steffie come home, they are first welcomed by their dog ‘Yoda’, who loves their small apartment just as much as they do. It is perfectly located and, with its bright rooms, immediately appealed to their taste. The garden, where they spend a lot of time with family or good friends, is also particularly attractive. What was still missing were the appropriate lights to make their home even cosier.
Tell us a bit about yourself, Kevin
I live here in Hasselt with my girlfriend Steffie and our Weimeraner ‘Yoda’, who is clearly part of our family. When I'm not boxing and Steffie comes back a little earlier from salsa class, we like to go for a walk with him or just snuggle up on the sofa. That's why a cosy atmosphere is so important to us.
What was the intention to choose Wever & Ducré for your home?
We both like a more minimalist style. That's why we really liked the matt black track lights with the discreet insets. They let us adjust the light flexibly, which is the perfect solution for the kitchen, where you don't just eat, but also cook or work. In the living room, we also opted for MATCH Floor, which provides an exceptional reading light. Our apartment has finally become a real home.
How did your home change after the tune up?
When we moved in here, we didn't immediately think of the appropriate lights, of course. There were a few light bulbs that worked, and that was that. We only realised how nice more atmospheric lighting would be when we were furnishing and decorating. So we started doing a bit of research and found everything we needed for our planning in the Wever & Ducré Light Guide.
